First Mate
As business lead, Shena has a strength in being resourceful, is a quick study of facts and stories and has a very strong connection to Labrador and its culture. Shena started her post secondary education with a focus on environmental studies and outdoor pursuits and later pursued a non-traditional career in the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator.
She grew up in a large fishing family and at a young age joined the crew during the summer season. This helped grow her love and appreciation of the ocean.
